Joy, hope contagious for Encuentro participants as they discern priorities
GRAPEVINE, Texas (CNS) â Joy, hope, energy and a spirit of continued collaboration are contagious among the participants of the Fifth National Encuentro, like Fermin Luna, a 22-year-old Mexican-American seminarian from the Archdiocese of Louisville, Kentucky.

The culmination of the night was a special dinner for the Bishops to accompany the young adults present at the V National Encuentro. They had conversation over dinner and then shared with the large group some of the highlights.
The second day of the V National Encuentro was a day full of prayer, joy, discussion, and inspiration. It centered around the themes of Getting Involved and Accompanying. The presenters and prayer leaders shared stories and encouragement about the need for the Church to walk with others.
Representative from region 13 at #VEncuentro says young bilingual, bicultural Hispanics/Latinos can be "gente puente," serving as bridges between cultures.
